What we believe
The Scriptures
We believe that the Scriptures, comprising the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, are the Word of God, fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, and without error in the original manuscripts, and are the sole authority for determining faith and practice.
The One True God
We believe in the one triune God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus is God, and has existed eternally with the Father, and was virgin born. We believe that Christ’s death on the cross was sufficient for man’s redemption. This was proven by His literal resurrection from the dead after three days. We believe that Christ ascended into heaven and will come again to set up a literal millennial kingdom on earth.
The Fall of Man
We believe that man was originally created in the image and likeness of God, but since Adam disobeyed God, all human beings have inherited a sinful nature and are now sinners before God by birth and by choice. This leaves man totally unable to remedy his lost condition before God on his own.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is God’s gift to man by grace alone through faith in Christ alone; whose precious blood was shed on the cross for the forgiveness of man’s sins and to remedy his lost condition before God.
The Security of The Believers
We believe that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God’s power and thus are secure in Christ forever.
